Heck of the North September 28th, 2013
The Slender Fungus will be heading north to Duluth, Minnnesota to participate in the Heck of the North. I will not be able to participate for various reasons. I have also crack a molar and have to wait until Monday to visit a dentist. Cookie, Gumby, T.J. and the Bonk King will be representing our gang. I wish you all a great time and hope that the weather cooperates. I shall be thinking of you during the weekend.

How wide are the tires on that macho man? Manual says 38 max, just wondering how wide I can go.

I think TJ said they were 40mm. They are fat Schwalbe Hurricanes.

Bike has nice ride to it. Accelerates nice. Built like a tank for wackos like us that ride all winter.

IF you need mor info on the macho man disc I can get you in contact with TJ he can go into a 4day explanation about every detail on the bike.

On schwalbe's website they are listed as 700x40 or 42-622. So, yes they are fatter than 38 and all city lied.
