This is exciting to know. Since at 5:30 tonight I just road the Specialized SHIV with the Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 electronic shifting that did the exact same thing. Was pretty cool to see how the mechaizism worked when others were riding the bike. Now that they make the same product without an eletric version is even better.
The Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 shifting was very smooth and scary. Just concerned about the lenght of the battery over time. Could see how that could give a cyclist an advantage in a race.
