Hey Ari: I know this guy and I am passing this on...it would make for a great training session for the Trans-Iowa. I am pretty sure that I am going to do it: "Ok, the snow is flying and most of you are getting depressed that you won't be riding outside until spring… well we have the fix for you: THE FAMOUS TRIPLE D WINTER RACE is returning for its second year. Last year this race turned out to be one of the most difficult 60 mile bike races in the history of the sport with only 4 (Ben Shockey, Joel Cahalan, Josh Peterson & Dennis Grelk) of the 35 starters finishing the shortened route in -30F wind-chill temps. However all the runners and skiers finished as the snow conditions were more favorable for those groups in addition to their routes being entirely on the sheltered Heritage Trail (Rails to Trail System)." from the Race Director
