The slow but sure transition into fall

Another summer slowly starting to fade away as the days get shorter and I notice a tree in the backyard turning a bit yellow. Soon it will be time to dust off the wool, charge up the lights and think about fenders and commuting in the dark. The shop was super-busy this year and we got a lot of people on bikes. I hope they get hooked on riding and find enjoyment in their new machines.
The announcement for Trans Iowa 11 has been made. It surprised me to see this happen as I thought 10 was the magic number. I am excited to hear the news. I am excited to perhaps be part of it all. If anything it will keep me outdoors all winter long. I must build a fat bike.
Hope to see you out on the road sometime!

This will go from Green to White

An open horizon that lets you breath

I hope you all have a great end of summer season and a good slide into Fall.

  1. I rode ninety miles on Monday, Oak Park to Sycamore, and back to Wheaton before three successive flats made me call for a pickup. Still wondering if I can do 5000 miles this year.

  3. Since I haven't seen you post photos of that old Fuji Professional, nor do you seem to post much anymore, would you consider selling it to a Fuji collector?
