Stay tuned for updates on Start time. The ride will be un-supported and there will be some gas stations to refill. Cue sheets will be provided and you will be responsible for yourself.

Good Times,

Slender Fungus Cycling Association

Special Thanks to B.B. for the awesome Artwork!!

Update on 3/7/2011
Recon was done on the Route. Gravel was firm due to freezing temps. Some loose stuff. Saw some doggies out there so be prepared to deal with them. Cue sheets should be done soon so I need to start getting a head count. Ride will leave from my house and will come back to my house. There is parking and I will have some drink and food for the end of ride. Bring water, food and whatever supply needed since there will be no chance of Supplies for at least 50 miles.

thanks,
Ari

  1. Will it actually be during the day? If so, I am in! What bike should I ride?

  2. Yes, It will be on Sunday Morning. We will be riding crossbikes, mountain bikes, road bikes with fat tires. We will be riding during the daylight so it will be weird.

Don't blame you for dumping our sorry asses and going to Naples, Florida to hang out with a hot Tri-girl from Puerto Rico.

  9. How would I register?

Is anyone headed down from the north at this point?

I'd come down if I can carpool at least half the way...

  10. There is no registration. We are just getting out there. The ride is also going to be posted on Gravel Grinder New from Guitar Ted.

  11. There are not many things in life I enjoy more than riding bikes with you guys - especially rides that offer the opportunity to bonk.

I would really love to make this ride but unfortunately I have been quite the pussy lately.

  14. I will be there as long as the weather looks good.....I've been having serious trouble keeping my toes from freezing over, even with waterproof Goretex-lined MTB boots. Hope to make it!

  15. Hellmut's dating a t-girl? Didn't know he was into that - freaking Florida. He's only been there a few weeks.

  16. If you saw her you'd get into being a speedo-toting freak like Hellmut.
She is the main reason he moved down there.
